This is a Guitar that I have been wanting to build for a long time. The inspiration comes via the Florentine cutaway which is big, bold and something I had seen on a Gibson. I have also designed a new cover plate motif which is hand cut into the plate. The Fingerboard is bound in Ebony, no plastic here, and coupled with the Curly Maple neck has a beauitful feel. It is set up for playing both slide and fingering and is fitted with a contact pickup for solo performance and a magnetic pickup for louder band situations, control is via the blend and volume Ebony knobs.
